Dersingham Centre Project Review

In November 2018 Dersingham Parish Council resolved to establish a Review Group to consider the build project for the new Dersingham Village Centre in the light of a significant cost overrun and the need to seek a Public Works Loan to cover the overspend.

The review group was chaired by the Chairman of Sandringham Parish Council.  The Terms of reference were “To undertake a full post project review to learn lessons for future projects and to produce a detailed report for councillors and parishioners to provide clarity around the financing of the project and to understand why a second public works loan became necessary. The review is intended to examine the governance of the project, its financial control and management and whether proper procedures and decision making were followed.”
