Dersingham Neighbourhood Plan
Neighbourhood Plan Household Survey – Results
The Neighbourhood Plan Household Survey was undertaken between 22nd January and 28th February 2026. The responses to the survey have been analysed and a brief summary of our findings may be found on this page. A document containing the full survey analysis can also be found below.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the Dersingham Neighbourhood Plan Household Survey.
Responses show that residents highly value Dersingham’s strong community spirit, village atmosphere, local amenities and its setting between the countryside and coast. Many people also highlighted the importance of bus links, open spaces and walking routes. While some new housing is recognised as necessary, particularly smaller and affordable homes so younger people and older residents can remain in the village, there was a clear preference for small, well-designed developments that respect the character of the village.
The Neighbourhood Plan steering group will now use the the results of the household survey and other data collected to draft a set of policies that will be used to determine planning applications in Dersingham.
The full analysis of the survey results can be found in the document below.
